Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of eassy, including the eassy iPhone application, Apple Watch companion, Live Activities, Dynamic Island features, the eassy website, and related features and services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using eassy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About eassy

eassy is a fitness application designed to help users:

  • record strength and other workouts;
  • create and reuse workout templates;
  • review workout history and trends;
  • track sets, repetitions, weight, duration, rest, distance, heart rate, and other workout information;
  • use Apple Watch during workouts;
  • connect supported Apple Health information;
  • view training-related calculations such as Training Readiness, recovery information, Training Load Ratio, heart-rate zones, and progress trends;
  • receive Smart Progression and Smart Template recommendations;
  • use on-device coaching features where supported;
  • share workout and template information through services selected by the user.

Features may vary by device, operating-system version, hardware capability, permissions, region, and app version.

2. Eligibility

You may use eassy only if:

  • you are at least 17 years old, or older if a higher minimum age applies where you live;
  • you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms; and
  • your use of the Service is permitted by applicable law.

If you are legally a minor where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required by law.

3. No Account Required

eassy currently does not require users to create an eassy account.

Core workout history, templates, profile information, trends, and related data are primarily stored locally on the user's device.

Because no eassy cloud account currently stores the core workout database:

  • deleting the app or losing the device may result in loss of locally stored data;
  • eassy may be unable to restore locally stored information;
  • eassy may be unable to access or recover your workout history on your behalf.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for maintaining any device-level backups you choose to use.

4. App Store License

The eassy application is made available through Apple's App Store.

Unless eassy provides a separate custom end-user license agreement through the App Store, your license to use the iOS application is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), available at:

These Terms supplement the applicable App Store license and govern additional conditions relating to your use of the Service.

If these Terms conflict with a mandatory term of Apple's applicable license solely with respect to the license to the iOS application, the applicable Apple license controls to the extent of that conflict.

5. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store license, you may use eassy for your personal, lawful fitness and training purposes.

You may not:

  • use the Service in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to eassy systems or related infrastructure;
  • interfere with, disable, damage, overload, or disrupt the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • circumvent technical limitations, access controls, or security measures;
  • use automated systems to scrape, extract, or reproduce substantial portions of eassy content or exercise data without authorization;
  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit eassy software or proprietary content except as expressly permitted;
  • use the Service to distribute malware, malicious code, or unlawful content;
  • falsely represent that eassy, Apple, OpenAI, or another third party endorses you, your training program, or your services.

6. Fitness Information Is Not Medical Advice

eassy is a fitness and workout tracking product, not a medical service.

Information provided by eassy, including:

  • Training Readiness;
  • recovery information;
  • Training Load Ratio;
  • heart-rate zones;
  • training-load calculations;
  • Smart Progression recommendations;
  • Smart Template recommendations;
  • workout analysis;
  • training trends;
  • AI-generated or deterministic coaching text;
  • estimated calorie, pace, volume, effort, or performance information;

is provided for general fitness, informational, and training-planning purposes only.

It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation guidance, or a guarantee that training is safe for you.

Training Readiness, Training Load Ratio, recovery indicators, and similar scores are estimates derived from available workout, health, sensor, and user-entered information. They should not be interpreted as a diagnosis, a clinical measurement, or a prediction that an injury will or will not occur.

You are responsible for deciding whether to exercise, what exercises to perform, what weight or intensity to use, and when to stop.

If you have a medical condition, injury, symptoms, concerns about exercise safety, or have been advised to restrict physical activity, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before relying on eassy to plan or modify training.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate assistance if you experience symptoms that may require medical attention.

7. Training Recommendations and Smart Progression

eassy may use your workout history, goals, training level, readiness, recovery, training load, previous performance, and related information to recommend:

  • which workout or template to perform;
  • whether to hold, increase, or modify a training target;
  • suggested weights or repetitions;
  • relative workout intensity;
  • recovery-oriented actions.

These recommendations are estimates, not instructions you are required to follow.

You remain responsible for checking suggested weights, repetitions, exercises, rest periods, and workout structure before and during training.

A recommendation may be inappropriate because of circumstances eassy cannot know, including illness, pain, injury, equipment differences, exercise technique, fatigue, medication, environmental conditions, incomplete history, inaccurate user input, or missing sensor data.

8. Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, eassy may read and/or write supported health and fitness data only after you grant the relevant permissions.

Depending on the features you use and permissions you grant, supported information may include workout records, heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep information, pace, height, weight, date of birth, biological sex, and related workout information.

Apple Health information may be used to power eassy features such as:

  • workout history and workout details;
  • heart-rate charts;
  • heart-rate zones;
  • Training Readiness;
  • Training Load Ratio;
  • recovery calculations;
  • trends and training recommendations.

You control Apple Health permissions through Apple's Health and system privacy settings.

eassy does not control the availability, accuracy, completeness, timing, or continued operation of Apple Health or data supplied by Apple devices or third-party applications.

Delayed Health data, missing heart-rate samples, incorrect permissions, device synchronization delays, or data supplied by other applications may affect eassy calculations.

9. Apple Watch and Sensor Data

The eassy Apple Watch companion may support:

  • workout sessions;
  • heart-rate and energy information;
  • set tracking;
  • rest and set-duration tracking;
  • workout synchronization between iPhone and Apple Watch;
  • manual or supported motion-based set detection.

Sensor-derived information is inherently approximate.

Motion detection, heart-rate measurements, calorie estimates, set detection, and related features may contain errors, false positives, missed detections, delays, or incomplete readings.

You are responsible for verifying workout entries and correcting them when necessary.

Do not interact with your phone, Apple Watch, or eassy in a way that creates an unsafe situation during exercise, driving, cycling, operating equipment, or any other activity requiring your attention.

10. Calculations, Estimates, and Data Accuracy

eassy performs calculations using information available to the app.

Calculated or derived information may be affected by:

  • inaccurate or incomplete user-entered data;
  • missing workouts;
  • missing perceived-exertion values;
  • imported workout data;
  • sensor limitations;
  • Apple Health synchronization delays;
  • limited historical baseline data;
  • workout classification;
  • algorithmic assumptions;
  • software bugs;
  • changes to formulas or product logic.

Examples include estimated one-repetition maximum, training load, Training Readiness, Training Load Ratio, recovery state, heart-rate zones, progress comparisons, and recommendation scores.

We do not guarantee that any calculation or recommendation is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your individual circumstances.

11. On-Device AI Features

On supported devices and operating-system versions, eassy may use Apple's on-device AI technologies to generate fitness-related text.

These features may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable output.

AI-generated content is provided as general fitness information only and is subject to the same limitations described in these Terms.

You should review AI-generated suggestions before acting on them.

Availability depends on Apple device support, operating-system support, Apple Intelligence availability, language support, and system settings.

When on-device AI is unavailable, eassy may use deterministic fallback content.

12. Analyze with ChatGPT

eassy may offer an optional Analyze with ChatGPT action.

When you choose this feature, eassy prepares workout information and opens a ChatGPT web experience in your browser. The information may include workout details, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, session effort, training goal, and previous comparable performance.

This action is initiated by you.

OpenAI is an independent third-party service. Your use of ChatGPT is subject to OpenAI's own terms, policies, account requirements, availability, and service behavior.

eassy:

  • does not control ChatGPT responses;
  • does not guarantee the accuracy or safety of ChatGPT-generated fitness advice;
  • is not responsible for availability or changes to ChatGPT;
  • does not make OpenAI's terms part of these Terms.

Review third-party advice before using it in training.

13. Notifications, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island

eassy may use notifications, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island to provide workout-related information such as:

  • rest alerts;
  • current workout state;
  • current exercise or set;
  • rest timing;
  • workout launch or continuation actions.

These features depend on iOS settings, notification permissions, background execution, device state, Apple services, and other technical conditions.

We do not guarantee that an alert, timer, Live Activity, or notification will always appear, update, or arrive at a particular time.

Do not rely on eassy notifications as a safety-critical alerting system.

14. Push-to-Start

Where available, Push-to-Start may allow a workout-related Live Activity or action to be initiated through a push notification or remote system.

Push delivery depends on Apple push-notification infrastructure, valid device tokens, connectivity, permissions, and any server component used to request delivery.

Push-to-Start is not intended for emergencies or other time-critical safety purposes.

15. Sharing and Export

eassy may allow you to share workout summaries, templates, images, text, or other information through the iOS share sheet or other user-initiated actions.

You are responsible for:

  • choosing what to share;
  • selecting the destination;
  • confirming that shared information does not contain information you do not want others to receive;
  • complying with the terms of the destination service.

Once you share information with another person, app, or service, eassy cannot control how that recipient uses, stores, or redistributes it.

16. User-Created Content

You may create content within eassy, such as:

  • workout titles;
  • workout templates;
  • custom exercise selections or structures;
  • training notes or values where supported.

You retain your rights in content you create.

You grant eassy only the limited rights necessary to process, display, store locally, and otherwise handle that content to provide the Service.

Because core user data is currently stored locally on your device, this provision does not imply that eassy receives or stores all user-created content on its servers.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you enter or share does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

17. Exercise Content and Intellectual Property

The eassy application, software, design, branding, user interface, bundled exercise library, illustrations, text, graphics, algorithms, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to eassy, except where otherwise indicated.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited rights necessary to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you.

You may use workout templates and information generated through normal app functionality for your personal training and may share content through features expressly provided by eassy.

You may not reproduce or commercially redistribute substantial portions of eassy's proprietary exercise database, imagery, application design, or software without permission.

18. Third-Party Services

eassy depends on or interoperates with third-party platforms and services, which may include Apple services and optional services you choose to open or share data with.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for:

  • third-party service availability;
  • third-party outages;
  • changes made by third parties;
  • third-party content;
  • third-party privacy or security practices;
  • actions you take through a third-party service.

The Service may stop supporting an integration if a third party changes or discontinues relevant technology.

19. Changes to Features

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features of eassy.

This may include changes to:

  • workout tracking behavior;
  • formulas and derived metrics;
  • Smart Progression rules;
  • recommendation logic;
  • Apple Health integrations;
  • Apple Watch functionality;
  • AI features;
  • exercise content;
  • supported languages;
  • platform requirements.

A feature shown in documentation, screenshots, marketing material, beta software, or an earlier version is not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.

Where required by law, material contractual changes will be handled in accordance with applicable notice or consent requirements.

20. Beta, Learning-Phase, and Experimental Features

Some features may be described as beta, learning phase, experimental, preview, or similar.

Such features may:

  • change more frequently;
  • produce incomplete or inaccurate results;
  • require additional historical data;
  • be disabled or removed;
  • behave differently across users or devices.

You should not rely on experimental or learning-phase features for safety-critical decisions.

21. Availability and Compatibility

eassy is designed for supported Apple devices and operating-system versions.

Some features require:

  • a compatible iPhone;
  • a compatible Apple Watch;
  • Apple Health permission;
  • notification permission;
  • specific iOS or watchOS versions;
  • Apple Intelligence support;
  • network connectivity;
  • supported languages or regions.

We do not promise perpetual compatibility with every device, operating-system version, integration, or third-party service.

22. Maintenance and Support

We may provide maintenance and support for eassy at our discretion or as required by applicable law.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for eassy except to the extent required under Apple's own applicable terms.

23. Fees and Paid Features

The current product specification does not identify subscriptions, recurring billing, or in-app purchases.

If eassy introduces paid features, subscriptions, or other purchases, the price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any additional purchase terms will be shown before purchase and handled in accordance with applicable App Store rules and law.

No future paid feature will be implied by these Terms alone.

24. Privacy

Your use of eassy is also governed by the eassy Privacy Policy:

The Privacy Policy explains how eassy handles workout, health, device, integration, and related information.

25. Suspension and Termination

Because eassy currently does not require an account, many traditional account-suspension mechanisms do not apply.

We may nevertheless suspend or restrict access to online, server-dependent, or future account-based parts of the Service where reasonably necessary to:

  • protect the Service or other users;
  • investigate misuse;
  • comply with law;
  • respond to security threats;
  • enforce these Terms.

You may stop using eassy at any time.

Removing the application may delete locally stored app data, subject to the behavior of iOS and any data separately stored in Apple Health or another third-party service.

26. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eassy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free;
  • workout, health, sensor, or imported information will always be accurate;
  • recommendations will improve performance;
  • use of the Service will prevent injury;
  • Training Readiness, Training Load Ratio, recovery metrics, or other calculations will correctly reflect your physical condition;
  • all bugs or compatibility issues will be corrected;
  • third-party integrations will remain available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eassy and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses arising from:

  • lost workout history or locally stored data;
  • inaccurate recommendations or calculations;
  • reliance on fitness guidance;
  • missed notifications or timers;
  • third-party service failures;
  • device or sensor inaccuracies;
  • interruption of Apple Health or Apple Watch synchronization.

You remain responsible for your exercise choices and for using equipment and devices safely.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including rights available to consumers under mandatory law.

28. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless eassy from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • your unlawful use of the Service;
  • your material violation of these Terms;
  • content you unlawfully distribute using the Service;
  • your infringement of another person's rights.

This section does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.

29. Apple-Specific Terms

For eassy downloaded through Apple's App Store:

  1. These Terms are between you and eassy, not Apple, except that the applicable Apple Standard EULA governs the App Store license unless a custom EULA is provided.
  2. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for eassy.
  3. To the extent required by Apple's applicable terms, if eassy fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may have responsibilities regarding any purchase price as provided under Apple's terms. Any other warranty responsibility rests with eassy to the extent required by law.
  4. eassy, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to eassy or your possession and use of eassy, including product-liability, legal-compliance, and consumer-protection claims, to the extent required by applicable law.
  5. eassy, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging claims that eassy infringes third-party intellectual-property rights, to the extent required by applicable law.
  6. You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo in a manner prohibited by applicable law and are not prohibited from receiving the application under applicable sanctions or restricted-party rules.
  7. You must comply with applicable third-party agreement terms when using eassy.
  8. Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of the Apple-specific provisions applicable to the licensed application and may enforce those provisions where Apple's applicable terms provide such rights.

30. Consumer Rights

These Terms do not remove rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

If the law of your country or region gives you rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, those rights continue to apply.

Any warranty disclaimer, liability limitation, governing-law provision, or dispute provision in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

  • product changes;
  • new integrations;
  • changes in law;
  • security requirements;
  • changes in our business or Service.

We will update the Last updated date when these Terms change.

Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.

Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

An invalid provision will be interpreted or limited only as much as necessary to make it enforceable where the law permits.

33. No Waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms immediately, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the eassy Privacy Policy, the applicable Apple App Store license, and any additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature or transaction form the agreement governing your use of eassy.

If a specific feature is subject to additional terms, those additional terms control for that feature to the extent of any conflict.
